The Elden Ring fashion game is strong, partially down to armor like Blaidd’s. Blaidd is a massive Wolf-Man that can appear in the game if you know where to look. A fierce warrior, he walks a similar path to the Tarnished in search of a sworn enemy and the best combat experiences.
Players can first encounter Blaidd when exploring the Mistwoof in East Limgrave. He will not be visible, but players will be able to hear wolves howling as they explore the region. Speaking with the Merchant Kale at the Church of Elleh afterward will result in Kale teaching players the Finger Snap gesture.
Returning to the Mistwood
If you return to Mistwood Ruins, you will find Blaidd at the highest point of it, and doing the Finger Snap gesture will cause him to drop down and speak with you. He will tell you he seeks an enemy known as Darriwil. Darriwil can be fought at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, and players will be able to summon in Blaidd to assist in the fight.
Once the fight is over, speak with Blaidd and exhaust his dialogue options. He will instruct you to find a blacking on the Road to the Manor in Liurnia, and tell him that Blaidd sent you. This will unlock the Carian Filigreed Crest in the blacksmith’s shop.
The next step is to begin Ranni the Witch’s questline. She is first encountered in Limgrave and can later be met in Ranni’s Rise in Liurnia.
Players who find Ranni at her tower in Ranni’s Rise will be able to agree to help her on a quest of her own. Once you have consented to this, you can then find Blaidd again in Siofra River, the underground portion of Limgrave that is accessed through Siofra River well back in Mistwood. Speak with Blaidd down in the Siofra River area, and then he will ask you to Preceptor Seluvis.
You will need to go back to Ranni’s Rise to speak with Seluvis, who will then send you in search of Sorceress Sellen. Sellen is found at the Waypoint Ruins on the southern road in Limgrave. She occupies a dungeon down some steps beneath the ruins. Go back and speak with Blaidd in Siofra River once more, and he will ask you to meet him at Redmane Castle in Caelid.

Redmane Castle is where players will need to fight Starcourage Radhan, which is quite the fight. You can summon in all manner of NPCs to help you out. After the festival for Radhan is complete, make your way back to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, where you will find Blaidd has been trapped inside. If you want to know why he is trapped there, speak with Iji before or after freeing him.
After that, you will need to finish up the quest for Ranni, which is also quite long and involved, and then you can return to Ranni’s Rise, where a distraught Blaidd will be waiting. When he sees you, he will attack, and if you defeat him, you can get both his weapon and armor.
