How to Get Shiny Lugia in Pokemon GO

Spring has broken through the cold winter months, and with it comes the cherry blossoms. And what better way to celebrate than with a Shiny Lugia?

That’s right! For a limited time, Lugia will be available to capture, giving trainers and Shiny hunters alike a chance to catch it in its rare Shiny form. On March 29, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Lugia will be appearing in raids for Raid Hour.

But if you miss it then, don’t worry! This majestic Psychic- and Flying-Type Legendary will continue to be a 5-Star raid boss all the way until April 10.

Five Star-Raid bosses tend to be quite tough, and the more trainers you have on your team, the better. But the effort is worth it, as Lugia is a great Pokemon in both PvE and PvP, with it absolutely shining in the Great and Ultra Leagues.
