How to Unlock More Healing Potions in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

You can get more healing potions by spending 500 time crystals at the Magi Emporium in The Haven. When you reach The Haven for the first time, you will find a tent in the center with an old woman simply named The Mage. She is a great source for some new amulets as well as all the potion upgrades you will need.

The first upgrade to your overall potion slots will cost 500 time crystals but that’s just the beginning. Each subsequent upgrade will cost far more, easily reaching around 2,000 for a single increase. Along with the upgrades to the efficiency of each healing item, this can quickly become expensive and The Mage will gladly take your crystals.

By the end of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you can start carrying five potions at a time. If you have all the efficiency upgrades as well, then you can fully heal with a single use and you’ll have more than a few chances to stay alive. As long as you don’t skip all the Soma Tree Petals, you’ll have plenty of overall health to work with.

Keep in mind that more potions of healing isn’t the only way to keep yourself alive. Sargon can wear amulets and there are a few of them that will restore health under specific conditions. I personally like the Dragon King amulet because it provides a one-time protection from a killing blow while restoring health. Experimenting with the amulets you like is all part of the game though.

After you speak to The Mage, decide whether you want to buy the hint from Fariba or not.
