Dunk City Dynasty is an official licensed NBA game made by NetEase Games. That means there’s going to be a lot of players coming to the game, and we already have future legends like LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

Everyone looks to get their favorite player right at the start of the game, and here’s how you can get them… or should I say a chance to get them in Dunk City Dynasty.

How to Get the Best NBA Players in Dunk City Dynasty

After going through the tutorial, you’ll eventually see the clunky-looking Dunk City Dynasty screen. It has many buttons, currencies, numbers, notifications, and everything in between.

You’ll eventually get a lot of players randomly, whether it is through log-in events, rewards, and even the free pulls, but there’s one way to get more players, and it is through the Supply Crates.

In the main menu, you’ll see a banner called “Supply Crate” and if you haven’t opened it yet, it should have a red circle on it, as if it has a notification for you.

Open the Supply Crate, and it’ll take you to the gacha or player banner screens.

The supply crate screen has three categories: Player, Costume, and Team. Player is for getting any player, depending on the banner. Costume is for clothes, outfits, accessories, and more. Team is for team-related items like team and player jerseys, motorbikes, courts, and more exciting cosmetics.

To get players, go to the Player category. There should be three banners: Elite Player, Current Superstar, and Legend Superstar.

Each banner should have a specific set of players available in the crates. You can see all the available players on each banner when you tap the “I” next to the banner on the right side of your screen (above the “Designate” bubble).

Look for the player you want and open as many crates as possible to get the player you want. However, it is worth noting that there could be players in both the Elite Player and Current Superstar banners. For example, you can see players like Klay Thompson or Luka Doncic on both banners and get them from either banner.

The pool is much smaller for the Elite Players banner, so if you are looking for an exact player in the Elite Players, it is better to get him from that banner. The Current Superstar should update frequently as the game goes on. More and more players will be added to the game, so this is the “general” banner if you want to get some random players and expand your roster.

For the pulls, each banner has different currencies. Elite players need Star Vouchers, while current superstars and legend superstars need Superstar Vouchers.

How to Get Star Vouchers and Superstar Vouchers in Dunk City Dynasty

Star and Superstar Vouchers cost 150 Diamonds each. Diamonds are the premium currency in Dunk City Dynasty, so you’ll have to spend real money to get them, excluding the occasional free Diamonds from events and activities.

You can already see where this is going. However, Dunk City Dynasty does have some “free” methods to get you some Star and Superstar Vouchers. A seasonal battle pass will include a free and a premium version.

The free battle pass has seven Star Vouchers, and no Superstar Vouchers are available. That’s rough. Daily sign-in bonuses give you one Star Voucher every two weeks, assuming you play the game daily.

Some unique events may give you players instead of vouchers, but at the cost of real money. Some deals are worth it compared to buying Diamonds outright.

You can also get some Diamonds through leveling, dailies, quests, and more, so if you are extremely active, it all adds up. You can eventually get enough Diamonds to buy Star or Superstar Vouchers to get more players. I highly suggest saving the Diamonds for Superstar Vouchers instead of Star Vouchers, since they are harder to get and cost the same.
