Season 2 for Marathon begins very soon, and Bungie has introduced the open play week, where you can check out everything Marathon has to offer for free. Bungie is also partnering with Twitch for a new batch of Twitch Drops to celebrate Season 2’s launch, and here is how to get them.

Marathon Season 2 Twitch Drops

The launch campaign for Season 2 of Marathon includes the following rewards and requirements:

Only the weapon skin for Bully requires you to spend a bit of money; everything else is dependent on fulfilling the watched minutes requirement.

Marathon Season 2 Twitch Drops Schedule

The first campaign for Season 2 of Marathon is active from June 2, 2026 (10 am PT), to June 9, 2026 (10 am PT).

How to Claim Twitch Drops for Marathon

To claim the drops, you must connect your Bungie account with Twitch.

  • First, log in to your account at Bungie account on the main website.
  • Head over to settings and click on the “Account Linking” tab.
  • Under “Social Platform Accounts”, you’ll see Twitch and a Link Account button. Click that.
  • After that, authorize and connect your Bungie account with Twitch.
  • Once the accounts are linked, head over to any Marathon Stream on Twitch with drops enabled. It needs to be a participating stream.
  • Watch the Stream (or put it on in the background) for the specified time. You need to watch 180 minutes in total to get all four items.
  • You can keep track of the drop progress in your Twitch inventory.
  • Once you have watched the specified time, you’ll see the Claim Now button on the same page over the items
  • Upon claiming the items, they will appear in-game the next time you launch Marathon.

The open play week is a great way to introduce Marathon to anyone who is still hesitant about jumping in with all the updates and new content added in. Like the Twitch Drops, this is available till June 9, 2026, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy a good chunk of Marathon action and see if it’s something you want to keep playing.
