How to Get Festive Squid in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As the festive season continues in Disney Dreamlight Valley, more and more people are eager to start fishing! More specifically, we’re all traveling around different areas in the game, looking for exclusive festive fish in exchange for a cosmetic reward. One of the fish you can catch pretty early on is the Festive Squid, found in one specific location. However, figuring out where this place is and how to catch the fish is an entirely different challenge. How to Get Festive Squid in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlike their regular counterpart, Festive Squids reside exclusively in the Glade of Trust. After clearing the large night thorns blocking the path, you can access the Glade of Trust through Peaceful Meadow or Dazzle Beach. After entering the area, you’ll have to keep your eyes open for festive colors in the water.

More specifically, you’re looking for a red-and-green fishing circle. Colored bubbles will also appear, indicating that it is a fishing spot. Unlike the regular white, blue, and orange circles you’ll find, this one has a special appearance and only appears once. The image below shows this in more detail:

From here, it’s just a matter of casting your line toward this circle and successfully catching the Festive Squid! After repeating this with the other Festive Fish, you’ll finish the Even Fish are Festive task and get a Santa Hat as an exclusive cosmetic.
