How to Get Copper in LEGO Fortnite

Where to Find Copper in LEGO Fortnite

Copper can be found on the walls of lava caves within the Dry Valley biome. The Dry Valley is essentially the desert section of the world, and on my own map, I was able to find the biome south of the Grasslands. The exact location of the valley will be different depending on the seed you choose for your world, so exploring is key.

Once you find a Dry Valley biome, it’s time to explore for a cave. Lava caves don’t work any differently than a standard Grasslands cave on the outside. They have the same POI marker on your map, and you need to enter them as a new instance. Cave entrances tend to be held within rock formations that are slightly larger than boulders.

Even after reaching the inside of the lava cave, you need the tools to mine the Copper itself in LEGO Fortnite. A rare pickaxe is a must-have tool that calls for some Flexwood before you can craft it. That means you need to craft a rare Forest Axe as well. If you can start with some Cut Amber gems, you can work your way up to the tool.

With the rare pickaxe in hand, it’s time to start mining for the Copper. Most of the time, the metal will spawn on the lava cave walls, and it has a bronze tint with a green highlight on the back. There are at least four different materials to mine in the caves, so make sure you check the color before wasting a pickaxe.

If you’re having trouble reaching a cave, ensure you have all the tips for locating a lava cave.
