How to Make Balloons in LEGO Fortnite

All good things take time, and Balloons are no exception. To start the process of crafting Balloons, you will need a Spinning Wheel and a Loom. The materials you need to build a Spinning Wheel are:

  • 8 Planks.
  • 5 Wooden Rods.
  • 5 Wood.
  • 5 Wolf Claws.

Once you have your Spinning Wheel, the second thing you must have at hand is a Loom. To craft one of these, you will need the following desert materials:

  • 9 Flexwood.
  • 8 Flexwood Rods.
  • 6 Sand Claws.

Step three is to get Silk, a key ingredient in crafting Balloons. Silk is obtained when you kill spiders, so head to the Grasslands to find them. With Silk in hand, take it to your Loom to craft Silk Fabric

When you make the Silk Fabric, it unlocks the recipes for the Balloon and the Large Balloon. Besides the Silk Fabric, you will need 1 Torch and 1 Cord to craft a Balloon. The Large Balloon will require two pieces of Silk Fabric.

Tip:

Only the Dynamic Foundation can be attached to the Balloons to take you up in the air, so don’t stress if you attach Balloons to random things and it doesn’t work!

Remember that Balloons aren’t forever; they break eventually. Keep a stash of Silk, Torches, and Cords in a chest, just in case.
