How to Get a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta Code and Redeem It

If you’re absolutely dying to play the latest installment in Activision’s titan of a FPS franchise, Call of Duty, then do I have good news for you. There’s a chance you can get a beta code and start playing early. Here’s how to get a code from MW3’s beta, and how to redeem it once you have it.

How to Get a MW3 Beta Code

There’s only one official way to get a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 code if you’re not in the UK, and that’s by pre-ordering. You’ll need to purchase either the Standard or Vault edition of the game prior to the beta period.

You won’t need a beta code if you purchased your game digitally! You’re automatically registered, and you can download the beta pack immediately.

But if you purchased a physical copy of Modern Warfare 3, you will need a beta code. This should be e-mailed to you if you purchased the game online or on your physical receipt if you purchased it in person.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive another code, which you’ll need to manually put into your console.

After the Early Access Beta Tokens are emailed, they will also be available here.

Now that you have a code, you’ll want to redeem it. Head to the official Call of Duty page here.

But note you’ll need to create a Call of Duty account first. It’s just another clever way for them to get your e-mail for advertising. However, you can also log into your Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, or Battle.net account. But to get access to the beta, only log in with your PlayStation account.

For PlayStation:

  • Go to the Shop.
  • On the top bar of the shop, select ““. This is to the far right, past “Latest, Collections, Deals”, just beside the icon of a cart.
  • Scroll down to “Redeem Code”.
  • Input the code.
  • Call of Duty Beta Pack 01 will begin to download.

For Xbox:

  • Go to shop.
  • Input the code.
  • Press the left button on your D-pad.
  • Scroll down to “Redeem”.
  • If there is a valid Beta Pack (possibly Beta Pack 02), it will begin to download.

Once that’s done, you can expect to download another 24.83 GB to your PlayStation, on top of the base 82.345 GBs for Modern Warfare 3. But we’re all used to that at this point.
