How to Get a Reservation for Pokemon Worlds Pop-Up Store

Gotta buy 'em all.

From August 18 to August 21, 2022, Pokemon fans will be heading to London, UK to spectate the top Pokemon Trading Card Game players at the Pokemon World Championships 2022. Participants from across the globe are getting together in person for the first time in three years to go head-to-head in battle.

As is usual with in-person events of this kind, there will be a pop-up Pokemon Center store where fans can purchase merch – including event-exclusive items. Knowing full well the popularity that the shop will no doubt have, The Pokemon Company has set up reservations so you can’t just show up and browse like in a normal store. Here’s how to get a reservation for the Pokemon Worlds pop-up shop so that you don’t miss out on any cool goodies.

How to Reserve a Slot for the Pokemon Worlds 2022 Pop-Up Store

Despite announcing the queue system earlier in the year, The Pokemon Company didn’t open up reservations until August 10, 2022, just eight days before Worlds starts. This is presumably to avoid overbooking or no-shows if peoples’ plans change.

If you’d like to book your slot for the Pokemon Center pop-up shop, you must visit the official Timeslot Reservation website by clicking here. Select how many of you will be in your group (four people maximum) and what day you’re planning on attending the event and you’ll be able to choose a timeslot. Slots are in 10-minute increments so it’s presumed that’s how long you’ll be allowed to browse.

Despite the Pokemon World Championships 2022 not officially kicking off until August 18, fans can book a timeslot to visit the store on August 17 so if you’d like to head in and check it out early, you can. At the time of writing, all days have multiple spaces left but make sure you book ASAP to avoid disappointment. You also cannot book multiple timeslots.

No Timeslots Left? Can’t Make a Reservation?

Worry not! The Pokemon Company has stated that if, for some reason, you are unable to make a reservation, you will be able to join a virtual queue via your smartphone at the event, allowing you to walk around and enjoy the goings-on without having to stand in line and wait for your turn. Note that the virtual queue is on a first-come, first-serve basis and has limited spots, so if you miss out on making a reservation, make sure you sign up for the queue as soon as you get there.
