The new portion of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s festive update have finally been unlocked, and with them comes a ton of exciting new content. One of such features are a few different Festive fish that can be found scattered around the Dreamlight Valley. The Festive Salmon is one of these additions, and features a spiffy little Santa hat on top of its spiffy little head. How to Catch a Festive Salmon in Disney Dreamlight

There are a few requirements that must be met before you can get a Festive Salmon. Firstly, you must be able to access the Sunlit Plateau, which can be unlocked with 7,000 Dreamlight. The Sunlit Plateau can be accessed directly from The Plaza via a ramp.

Once you have entered the Sunlit Plateau, you can now begin searching for the Festive Salmon!

Luckily, there are a few tell-tale signs that a Festive Salmon is near. While most of the usual fish will have regular colored bubbles, the Festive Salmon will have green and red bubbles floating above it. (seen below)

Once you fish the green and red bubbles in the Sunlit Plateau, you will be guaranteed to catch the Festive Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

This is because Festive Fish are region exclusive, and five different Festive Fish can be found in their respective regions.

If you catch all five Festive Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will complete the “Even Fish are Festive” task and unlock an exclusive cosmetic!

Now that you know how to get a Festive Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it’s time to get out there and explore the Sunlit Plateau.
