How to Finish With a Trace Quest in ARC Raiders
Don't forget to parkour through the wreckage.
As you progress in ARC Raiders, quests become more mysterious and challenging. The With a Trace quest is one of them.
You’ll need to investigate a few sites in Blue Gate, but it isn’t clear where to go. Here’s a quick guide on how to finish the With a Trace quest in ARC Raiders.
With a Trace Quest Guide in ARC Raiders
To finish the With a Trace quest, you must finish the following objectives:
- Reach the Barren Clearing
- Find Signs of Who Brought Down the ARC Machines
The quest is done in the Blue Gate, and you’ll also have to go and investigate the Adorned Wreckage and the communication device. These additional objectives appear after completing the objectives one by one during a raid.
The Barren Clearing is easily identifiable as it is one of the marked areas on the Blue Gate map. Use the image or map above as a reference.
When you reach the Barren Clearing, you’ll have to look for the signs, and you’ll have to investigate this crashed ARC device just a little south of the Barren Clearing.
This area is wide open, and ARC Wasps and Hornets frequent the area. I also suggest clearing out all these ARCs, including the Snitches, so you can peacefully stroll to the south for later in the quest. You’ll even get some useful materials for your Workshop upgrades from fighting these ARC enemies. Since you’ll have to hold and investigate the ARC, you’ll have to stay there for a few seconds. You can bring a smoke grenade if you are feeling anxious about other enemy players.
After investigating, your objective will update, and you’ll need to inspect the Adorned Wreckage, which is just south of the Barren Clearing. You can refer again to the first map image.
Once you are at the Adorned Wreckage, you can literally see the big ARC wreckage that looks like a rocket ship. Just step near it to investigate and complete the objective. You can also loot around the wreckage for some decent gear and resources (there’s a weapon crate if you climb the wreckage).
The quest will update for the last time and tell you to investigate the communications device.
The communication device should be beside the Adorned Wreckage. It is a computer on top of a table, and it’ll shine yellow when you go near it if you still have the quest active. Investigate the computer, and that should finish the With a Trace quest.
