How to Finish the Snap and Salvage Quest in ARC Raiders

The Snap and Salvage quest is one of the hardest quests to finish in Stella Mortis in ARC Raiders. There are four key objectives, and each is either tricky or just plain difficult to complete.

Here’s a complete walkthrough of the Snap and Salvage quest from Tian Wen in ARC Raiders.

To finish the Snap and Salvage quest, you must complete the following objectives:

• Take a Photo of any of the Rovers in the Sandbox.
• Search the papers in the Security Checkpoint room by the Lobby.
• Deliver a Magnetron to Tian Wen.
• Deliver a Flow Controller to Tian Wen.

Each one of these objectives can be finished one by one, so you don’t have to worry about completing all of them and extracting in one go.

Rover location in the Sandbox

Stella Mortis is literally a maze, especially for new players. There are a bunch of locked doors that, even following the map, are extremely confusing. The Rover we are looking for is located in the Robotics Sandbox, which is part of the ground or base floor map layout of Stella Mortis (you can switch layers by pressing “E” while the map is active).

Above, you’ll see the entrance to the Robotic Sandbox along with the encircled area on the map. Go to this entrance and head straight to the Robotic Sandbox. There are signs on the wall to help you get your bearings.

When entering the Robotic Sandbox, go straight down the hallway, and you’ll already see a big window on your right, looking into the Sandbox. Turn right at the end of the hallway and work your way down to the Sandbox. You can either take the lift or just jump down. The exact location of the Rover is literally in the Sandbox. Stand behind the Rover and take a photo. It works similarly to the Reduced to Rubble quest. You don’t need Binoculars to take a photo here.

The Security Checkpoint room is much easier to find. Head to the Lobby, which is a wide-open area near the center of the map. Look for the security desk. Use the map above for reference. You’ll see a breachable door behind the security desk. Open it, go inside, and turn right.

Look for the large desks with computers and loot containers. The papers are on top of the desk next to the computer.

How to Find Magnetron and Flow Controllers

The Magnetron and Flow Controllers are some of the new Exodus materials introduced in the North Line update. They are quite hard to find and involve a lot of luck. My strategy in finding these is to hit these containers, as shown in the image above.

The two containers above are inside the same Security Checkpoint room, next to the papers. I found these containers to drop a lot of the new materials in the North Line update.

There’s another one of these containers from the rooms above the Security Checkpoint room. You’ll find them scattered around Stella Mortis as well.

You can also find them in the Assembly and Assembly Workshop. Look for those breachable servers and containers.

However, since the Magnetron and Flow Controllers are technically “Exodus” loot, you can also find them in other maps that have “Exodus” loot, such as the Rocket Assembly in Spaceport and many more.
