Costa del Sol is such a breath of fresh air after the war-torn craggy mountains of Junon. And even better than Junon, there’s treasure aplenty. Take the Cape del Amor Cache, for example, which is a treasure trove tucked between beach and sea. Here, there are three treasures to uncover. And while two are laid out in the open, the third can be quite tricky.

The first chest can be found in the circular gazebo that attaches to the zipline. This zipline extends from the nearby Lifespring to the beach. But you can only take it down! Gravity can be quite cruel. Open the gazebo chest to find two handfuls of Gold Dust. Gold Dust is a rare item transmutation ingredient you can use to make a Gold Needle, which cures Petrification.

Our next chest will require us to follow the pier into the sea. Follow the pier until you reach the floating gazebo with the frond roof. In this gazebo, you’ll find the second chest. Inside, you’ll find a Ruby. Rubies are technically one of the rarest materials for item transmutation, and they’re a key component in crafting earrings, from your standard to your Magical. And earrings are great because they’ll increase a character’s MP and magic power.

The final chest is the easiest to miss. You’ll need to jump off the pier into the water from the gazebo where you found the second chest. Once you do, follow the pier around until you find the space where it’s broken. You’ll need to swim beneath the pier all the way to chest, which is on the beach. That officially makes this the hardest chest to get in any cache we’ve encountered so far.

But it’s well worth it! This final chest will give you the Healing Carcanet. This is an elaborate neckpiece that increases the effectiveness of healing items, spells, and abilities during battle. So give this beautiful necklace to your token healer.

And if you don’t want to swim back but want to stay in the same area, just open your map and select the Cape del Amor icon to fast-travel. This will teleport you from out from beneath the pier without wasting any time.
