How to Find and Use Forecast Towers in Fortnite

One of the story missions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 requires players to use a Forecast Tower, which have been a staple on the island in previous seasons. Here is how to find and use Forecast Towers in Fortnite.

How to Find Forecast Towers in Fortnite

Fortnite players can find Forecast Towers by checking their map for locations marked with the radar dish icon. There are a few conditions before players can visit these Forecast Towers.

Forecast Towers all look the same with the small black box of a building and a large antenna next to it. There are multiple towers around the map, but the towers do not become active until the first storm circle ends.

That means players will have to survive long enough in the early game before the towers can become active. Once the first phase is over, there will two radar dish icons on the map and can be random from game to game.

How to Use Forecast Towers in Fortnite

Once a Forecast Tower becomes active, a group of three henchmen will spawn near the tower and patrol the area. They will not attack players unless provoked, so it is important to wipe them out before they start moving away or other nearby teams can hear the gunfire.

Killing the head henchmen will drop a Forecast Tower Access Card. Pick it up, which will take up one inventory slot, and bring it to the large computer inside the black building. Interact with the computer to use the card.

Doing this will mark where the next storm circle be on your map. This can be very handy when setting up for a better position once there are only a few players left.
