How to Feed Monkeys in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Stretch your legs and put on your chef hat

Monkeys are mischievous and cute creatures, and this remains true in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To befriend one and have it accompany you as you explore Eternity Isle, you must fill its belly first, but how do you feed monkeys in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

How to Feed Monkeys in Disney Dreamlight Valley

First of all, you need to know the monkeys’ location. They’re found around the large Ancient’s Landing biome, which is only accessible if you have the A Rift in Time expansion. They can be found roaming and playing around.

To feed the monkeys, first, you have to play tag with them; that is, following them around until the interaction command appears. Once they’re happy and content with the tag game, you can feed them their favorite food: five-star meals. It’s not like you can’t give them other food, but five-star meals are the only ones that will get you to befriend them.

It’d be a nice idea to try and collect more five-star recipes and try to feed them all to the adorable monkeys. There are plenty that are Eternity Isle exclusive, after all.

The befriending process is not instantaneous. You have to feed the monkey for at least two days before you can make it your little buddy. You can feed it more times a day, but only the first one will count for the bonding. The day resets at 12 AM, so keep that in mind.

Monkeys in Disney Dreamlight Valley come in five color variants: Classic monkey, found at The Docks, Beige and Grey monkeys found in The Ruins, Black and Brown monkey at The Courtyard, and Red monkey, who hangs out in The Overlook. Try to make friends with one of each!

Following the stereotype that monkeys eat bananas, you can try giving them a Banana Split, which is also a five-star recipe. To make one, you will need 1 Banana, 1 Milk, 1 Sugarcane, 1 Slush Ice, and 1 Sweet.
