Trapinch is just a little guy, but it evolves into one of the best Pokemon available in the The Indigo Disk: Flygon. Now, you may be wondering what you need to do to evolve this special fella, and we’re here to make it happen so you can claim Flygon for your own.
Where is Trapinch Located in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Indigo Disk?
If you’re hoping to get your hands on a Trapinch, you’ll want to spend plenty of time in the Savannah Biome, as they are rather plentiful in this area. You can see their exact location in the Habitat screenshot above.
How to Evolve Trapinch Into Vibrava in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Indigo Disk
If you’re hoping to get a bit of a buzz going in your party, you’ll want to level up your Trapinch to level 35, where it will take on a whole new form as Vibrava. Going from small, orange, and snappy to a whole new color scheme and look. It’s one of the most transformative and cooler first evolutions in the Pokemon franchise, with its final form, Flygon, being even nicer to look at and far more powerful overall.
Howto Evolve Vibrava Into Flygon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Indigo Disk?
Now that we’ve gotten our hands on Vibrava, we only have a bit more effort before we can add Flygon to our party in The Indigo Disk. To get this giant creature, you’ll need to level up your Vibrava to Level 45. After the final level has been hit, the evolution sequence will start and you’ll finally have a Flygon to call your own.
Flygon Location in The Indigo Disk
If you want to skip the whole process of leveling, you can directly catch a wild Flygon roaming around the Savanna Biome in The Indigo Disk. While Flygon is a much rarer encounter than Trapinch, you can actually find Flygon in all the same places you find Trapinch, which is all over the savannah. In my experience, Flygon especially seemed to pop up on the southwestern side of the biome near the base of the Lion King-esque hill that Pyroar and Litleo like to lounge on.
If you’ve already completed The Indigo Disk’s story, you can also find a Stellar Tera Flygon near the Savannah Outdoor Classroom. The classroom has its own Fly point in the very middle of the biome, and Flygon should be hovering around directly outside the classroom to the east.
Similarly, you can find a wild Tera Vibrava among the savannah’s northeastern-most mud pools. However, unlike the Stellar Flygon, you won’t need to finish The Indigo Disk’s story to find this particular Pokemon. This Vibrava will be a decently high level, so all you would need to do to evolve it into Flygon is give it a Rare Candy or a few Exp. Candies.
Flygon Stats in The Indigo Disk
Flygon is a Ground/Dragon dual-type Pokemon with the following stat spread:
- HP: 80.
- Attack: 100.
- Defense: 80.
- Special Attack: 80.
- Special Defense: 80.
- Speed: 100.
Flygon doesn’t particularly excel at any one thing, but rather, is a highly versatile jack of all trades. Make sure your Flygon has a Jolly nature to increase its Speed and access to the Dragon Dance move, and you’ll likely see it spamming attacks faster than many other Pokemon.
Flygon has an unfortunate quadruple weakness to Ice but few other weaknesses, and its Levitate ability gives Flygon an immunity to Ground alongside its natural immunity to Electric types. Its dual typing also gives it access to a wide array of some very powerful Dragon and Ground attacks like Earthquake.
And now that you have Flygon in Indigo Disk, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet section below to learn how to evolve Beldum into its best form possible.
