The Fortnite island is home to many strange characters, bosses, and enemies for the special The Simpsons crossover season. Interacting with these NPCs is crucial for many quests, like the one that asks you to damage Dober Men.
All you’re told for this mission is to damage Dober Men, with no additional information on who they are, what they look like, or where to find them. It’s a decently tough task to work through when you don’t know what you’re looking for, so here’s how to damage Dober Men in Fortnite.
What are Dober Men in Fortnite?

Dober Men are robotic dog-like NPCs you can find at a couple of spots around the island. They’re generally hostile and will attack you on sight, but there’s one way to make a certain group of them friendly and actually have them protect you. For the damage Dober Men quest, though, you want enemy versions of this character, as you need to fight them.
Where to Find Dober Men in Fortnite
There are two locations you can visit to find Dober Men around the Fortnite island:
- Burns Manor – There’s a big red button on the desk in the office at Burns Manor. When this button is pressed, a large army of Dober Men is spawned around the location. If you press the button yourself, all Dober Men will be friendly toward you and attack any enemy players who arrive at this spot. If another player hits it first, all Dober Men will attack you on sight. For the damage Dober Men mission, you want to have another player activate it so you can battle with them.
- Any active KBBL Radio Tower – Fairly late into each round, a couple of KBBL Radio Towers will become active. When this happens, you can venture to them and find a group of three Dober Men wandering around outside them. Fight and beat them in battle to acquire a special key card that allows you to secure the KBBL Radio Tower.

Damage Dober Men in Fortnite
To finish the damage Dober Men mission, you need to deal a total of 300 damage against these characters. You’ll likely need to fight at least two or three of these NPCs to fully finish this task, as you generally won’t deal enough when battling against one.
Whether or not there will be Dober Men present at Burns Manor is entirely dependent on other players, making this method a bit unreliable. Because of this, it’s generally best to survive until late in the round and head to a KBBL Radio Tower to secure the best chance of tackling this quest.
If you’re looking to earn more XP, there are plenty of other tasks to work on after this one. Next, you might try finding Hidden Gags, visiting The Simpsons’ house, destroying objects at Krusty Burger or Lard Lad, and tracking down all characters you can find around the island.
