Cooking is a gameplay element that you will want to familiarize yourself with early on in Fae Farm. Not only will you benefit from the on-the-go energy replenishment and buffs provided by the food, but certain quests require food, too. Steamed Fish in Fae Farm is a perfect example, so this is how to cook this simple seafood dish.
How to Make Steamed Fish in Fae Farm
Two ingredients are required in the Steamed Fish recipe; fortunately, they are both relatively easy to obtain.
Ingredient | How to Obtain |
Fish Fillet x1 | Catch any fish and use the Food Prep Table to turn it into Fish Fillets. The rarity of the fish determines how many fillets a single fish will produce. |
Fresh Greens x2 | Harvest any of the seasonal greens that grow around the island – Arugula, Dandelion Greens, Red Chard, Collard Greens, Glowdrops, Dawnbloom, Fiddlehead, and Endive. Use the Food Prep Table to turn the above into Fresh Greens. The rarity of the seasonal greens determines how many Fresh Greens will be produced. |
Once you have Fish Fillet x1 and Fresh Greens x2, you need to access the Cooking Hearth and click on Steamed Fish, which is the fourth from the right in the top row. This will bring up a screen where you can see how many you can make in total, confirm how many you want to cook, and see the progress. You do not have to have the ingredients on hand, as all of the Fae Farm cooking and crafting stations will pull from your storage.
Once it’s completed, enjoy your Steamed Fish. A simple recipe that provides +50 to your energy, which is handy early on, especially when traversing dungeons such as the Saltwater Mines.
