How to Complete Found Quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 4

Tackle secret quests to earn rewards.

Weekly quests are generally some of the toughest missions to work through in Fortnite, but they grant lots of XP, making them well worth the effort. One of the trickier missions you’ll encounter asks you to complete found quests.

This task is a bit of a weird one since it’s basically a quest inside a quest. Found quests aren’t super common, and are a fairly hidden feature, so you might be struggling to get this one done. If this duty has you stumped, here’s how to complete found quests in Fortnite.

What are Found Quests in Fortnite?

Found quests are secret missions you can unlock by chatting with certain NPCs around the island. Not all characters have them, and all NPCs have many unique dialogue options, which can make acquiring found quests a bit of a tricky task. These missions are always marked with a diamond exclamation point icon when chatting with a character.

Where to Find Found Quests in Fortnite

For the duration of the Fortnitemares event, there are only four found quests you can get, which are:

  • Daphne’s found quest – Can be acquired by chatting with Daphne, who is hanging out inside a building at Viney Shafts.
    • For her quest, you need to find her missing luggage, which is situated up on a cliff slightly southwest of her location. Then, interrogate Mothman, the thief, a few feet away from the stolen goods.
  • Fred’s found quest – Can be acquired by chatting with Fred, who is standing outside along the road next to the Mystery Machine east of Ranger’s Ruin.
    • For his quest, you need to find five missing pieces of the Mystery Machine along the road leading down to Ranger’s Ruin to help repair it.
  • Velma’s found quest – Can be acquired by chatting with Velma, who is hanging out in a cabin in the snowy mountains south of Harmony Hills.
    • For her quest, you need to find the missing magnifying glass. It’s on the second floor of the house she’s in, tucked away in the corner behind some boxes covered with white sheets.
  • Shaggy’s found quest – Can be acquired by chatting with Shaggy, who is wandering around a gas station to the west of Bugswatter Beach.
    • For his quest, you need to grab three ingredients from around the gas station to make him the perfect burger.

There are over 20 NPCs around the island, but only these four have found quests to give you.

Complete Found Quests in Fortnite

For the complete found quests mission, you need to find, accept, and navigate through two found quests. If you’ve already done all four prior to starting this weekly mission, you’ll need to meet up with one of the Scooby-Doo characters again to tackle their found quests a second time, as past progress doesn’t count here.

Velma and Shaggy’s found quests are the easiest to get done, so if you want to knock out this weekly mission as quickly as possible, it’s best to focus on these two. If you’re not sure what to do next after finishing this mission, you might work on other key missions like carving pumpkins and visiting the mysterious location in the mountains.
