How to Catch Litten in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk

You just have to go pspsps

Our favorite black-and-red striped yellow-eyed cat is back in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet thanks to the Indigo Disk DLC. Collecting the starters is one of the most fun parts of a Pokémon game, so where can you find Litten in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

How to Find and Catch Litten in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Plenty of Litten can be spotted at the Canyon Biome, but only after it is upgraded. To upgrade it, you have to gather 3,000 BP and donate it to the Terarium Club using the computer at the League Club room. Once you’ve done that, you can go ahead and explore the Canyon, especially in the northwestern area of it. Litten is not a rare Pokémon, so it shouldn’t be long before you can catch your own Fire-type kitten.

Catching Litten should be easy. Try to inflict any status condition on it, like paralysis or sleep, and lower its HP a little with attacks that won’t be super effective on it (so no Ground, Rock, or Water-type moves). Any type of Pokéball should work on Litten, but maybe a Great Ball is the best option, to ensure the catch.

How to Evolve Litten into Torracat and Incineroar

Litten evolves simply by leveling up. It will turn into Torracat at level 17, and into the mighty Incineroar at level 34. Incineroar is great for competitive battling, so Litten is a great starter to catch!

If you upgrade all of the biomes, you’ll eventually be able to catch all of the other starter Pokémon. You might want to take a look at the other starters that appear in the Canyon biome: Turtwig, Treecko, Tepig, Squirtle, and Chespin. It will take 12,000 BP to upgrade all biomes, so if you feel like that’s a lot to farm, you may be interested in the best ways to get BP in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
