How to Break Down Gear in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

The right gear to wear is incredibly important in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as the anti-hero group takes on the Justice League, but salvaging gear for parts and space is just as notable. Here is how to break down weapons and gear in the game.

How to Salvage Gear in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (KTJL)

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League players can break down weapons and gear by going to the Loadout tab in the pause menu. This will have your character’s currently equipped loadout.

Select any of the categories including Firearms, Melee, Grenade, Shield Mod, Traversal Mod, Neck Bomb Mod, or Lucky Charm. Players can then scroll down the list of owned items on the left.

Enter Manage Mode by pressing X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, and the S key for keyboard on PC. This will bring up a slight overlay to showcase your resources and the break down of any weapons selected.

You can mark individual weapons or gear on the list or break down all items in that slot that are not equipped. You can also Favorite items to save them from being accidentally destroyed.

Once you have marked all items to be broken down, hold the mark button to Break Down Marked and salvage those items into resources. These materials can then be used to craft, upgrade, or reroll other weapons and gear at the Hall of Justice.

It is important to note that some categories include items that can be used for multiple or all characters in the squad, so be sure any marked items cannot be used for other characters before breaking down. Equipped items for the specific or other characters are labeled with a green box in the corner and cannot be broken down unless unequipped.
