Clash Royale is a real-time strategy title for mobile phones and tablets, that combines elements from tower defense games, card games, and battle arena online multiplayer skirmishes. It was released back in 2016 as a free-to-play and has since amassed millions of players. If you’ve finally decided to jump into it now, you may be wondering how to play with friends. Keep reading to learn how to add friends to Clash Royale.
How to Add Friends in Clash Royale
There are a few different methods to add your friends to Clash Royale:
Sending an invitation link to add friends in Clash Royale
- Press the Social Icon (top right).
- Tap on the “Add a Friend.”
- You will get a link that you can send to your friends, whether that’s on something like Discord or by email.
Once they accept it, your new friends will show up on your Clash Royale friend list.

Adding friends to Clash Royale through Facebook
- Make sure you have your Facebook account linked to Clash Royale. You’ll find the option to connect them in the game’s settings.
- Once your Facebook profile is linked, you will be able to see the list of all of your Facebook friends that play Clash Royale and add them to your friend list.
Also, you can add random new friends from 2v2 battles. After a fight, you will see the “Add a Friend” button at the bottom where you can add your teammate to your friends list – if they were any good, anyway.
Just don’t forget that your friends list has a limit. You can add up to 100 friends, but if you have Supercell ID, this increases to 300. To get one, you just need to register a Clash Royale account by going into the settings and clicking the login button to start the registration process.
