How to 1v1 Friends in Overwatch 2
If you’re looking just to go one on one against a friend, all you need to do is head to the Custom Games tab, which can be found under the “Play” options. From here, invite your friend to the lobby, and switch the ruleset.
Once you’re in the lobby, go to the settings option on the top right of the screen. You’ll then want to click on the “Modes” category and select Elimination. This will set it to the 1v1 mode, where once a player dies, the round ends, and you move on.
Make sure to go into the settings of this mode and tweak it to your liking. Here you can change the round number, hero availability, and much more.
Once you have the settings to your liking, just start the game, and you’ll be going up against your friend in the pinnacle of online heat.
