Luke’s Backstory in Street Fighter 6

We learned most about Luke’s background in a short story mode in Street Fighter V where we saw a flashback of how Luke’s father sacrificed himself to save civilians in the mall from terrorists. This event inspired Luke to join the army to fight terrorism, where Guile as his mentor guided him to a different walk of life – fighting. That’s why Luke uses military MMA as a martial art, so in Street Fighter 6, we see him as an instructor of the same.
