Two new items that have arrived at Resident Services and are only available for a limited time. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer and Winter solstice items will be available in the game until July 6, in celebration of the longest and shortest day of the year. Players can pick up the limited time solstice hat and sweater by visiting the Terminal at Resident Services, going to the “Nook Shopping” section, and navigating to the “Seasonal” tab. From there, players will find both the Summer and Winter solstice items available for purchase.

We’ve included a quick table below for a quick rundown of all of the New Horizons solstice items.

Summer Solstice Crown

Winter Solstice Crown

As you can see, both items are only going to be in the game for about a month, so if you want one, or both, you’ll probably want to order it sooner rather than later. Thankfully, neither of the Summer and Winter solstice items are too pricey, so it shouldn’t take you very long to save up for them. At the time of writing, it’s unclear if Nintendo plans to do a proper event for the solstice, or if this is it.

In the meantime, there are plenty of things for players to do during the month of June, like catch all of the new bugs and fish. If you’re not interested in that, you can also check out the wedding event that will be taking place during the month of June. During this event, players will be able to snap pictures of the happy couple in exchange for some wedding-themed gifts.

You may have also noticed a new blue shell that has begun washing up on the beach, this is called the Summer Shell and it’ll be in the game for the next few months. Further, there are loads of new DIY recipes that players can learn to craft with the new blue shells.
