Pokemon players known IVs are the individual stats that determine how strong your characters are in specific areas. Due to the importance of these stats, players are wise to check them often to make sure that their characters have the ones they think are the most beneficial. How to Check IVs in Pokemon Sword and Shield
Sword and Shield players will gain the ability to check IVs when they defeat Leon in the Pokemon League. You will then need to make your way to the Battle Tower and win six matches. Once you have secured six wins, you will be able to go to any PC and hit the plus button to look at the stats of your creatures.
Now, IVs are essential when it comes to making sure that your team members are as strong as they can be when it comes to competitive play. However, casual players do not have to worry about having these stats optimized for specific areas if they are playing for fun.
