How to Activate the Grand Lift of Dectus in Elden Ring

The Grand Lift of Dectus is a massive device that players will need to activate if they want to venture north past Liurnia of the Lakes to the Altus Plateau, but some items are required to make it work. Players will need to find two halves of the Dectus Medallion that will allow them to activate the Grand Lift.

The Dectus Medallion (Left) can be found in Fort Haight near the Mistwood in East Limgrave. It is pretty straightforward to get. Walk inside, then take the wooden stairs to the left, and climb up to the top of the tower. Here, you will find a chest that contains the Dectus Medallion piece you seek.

The Dectus Medallion (Right) can be found at Fort Faroth over in Dragonbarrow on the east side of Caelid. This is a tougher castle, filled with flying enemies that can do a lot of damage. Go into the dark ground floor and turn left, sprinting through the room to the ladder on the other side. Climb to the top, and you can grab the item you need from the chest at the top of the ladder.

When you have both pieces, you can bring them to the Grand Lift of Dectus at the north of Liurnia of the Lakes, stand in front of it, and choose to use the pieces when prompted. This will activate the lift, bringing you up to Altus Plateau.
