Harry Potter: Wizards Unite June Community Day Date

The Wizards Unite June 2020 Community Day will take place on Saturday, June 13, and will last all day long. That’s right – unlike previous community events, this time around players will be able to participate all day long and won’t be contained to a short period of time. Further, players will be able to explore different areas in Dumbledore’s Office like the Philosopher’s Stone, the Pensieve, and the Mirror of Erised.

During the Wizards Unite Community Day event, players will need to complete Special Assignments which will require them to return Mysterious Artefact Foundables to the office in exchange for ingredients, gold, spell books, and potions. Further, during the event players will also have a better chance of spotting Foundables that appear on the Dumbledore’s Office registry page.

During the June Community Day, players will also be able to brew Tonic for Trace in one hour, which will reveal more Community Day traces. Additionally, players will have an increased chance of receiving Sword of Gryffindor fragments when they’re using Mysterious Artefact Runestones in Wizarding challenges. Lastly, players that find a special 1km Portmanteau will be rewarded with Family XP and Sword of Gryffindor fragments.

Additionally, since there is a focus on “play at home” players will be able to use the Knight Bus feature to travel to the fortress at Hogwarts Castle. Traditionally, you’d have to get out from underneath the covers, go outside, and walk around town to do this, but with the pandemic going on, Niantic is making it possible for players to participate in the event from the comfort of their own home.

Those who have been playing the game for a while now might remember that the Statute of Secrecy Task Force was founded last June, making this month the one-year anniversary! In honor of its formation, players will be able to participate in a couple of different events throughout the month, with the Community Day being one of them. The celebration will continue on June 16 and 26, so be sure to check the game’s official website for more details.
