Halo Infinite Ranking System Explained

The multiplayer modes currently offered in Halo Infinite is pretty bare, but you can still play ranked matches if you like. You’ll need to play 10 placement matches to be put into one of the many different ranks. Each rank has six subranks within them. Meaning if you’re at Bronze 1 (the lowest rank) you will have to work through Bronze 2-6 before hitting Silver.

All of the ranks are listed below.

  • Bronze 1-6
  • Silver 1-6
  • Gold 1-6
  • Platinum 1-6
  • Diamon 1-6
  • Onyx

Onyx is the highest rank you can achieve in Halo Infinite. It does not have subcategories. Once you’ve reached Onyx there is nowhere else to go. So congrats if you ever make it there.

Playing unranked matches will not affect your rank ever, so don’t worry about playing those modes. However, playing ranked matches can have you lose ranks if you perform poorly consistently.

Ranks Play does have some stipulations for the game mode though.

  • Every Player starts with a Battle Rifle
  • Your Combat Sensor is Disabled
  • Friendly Fire is On
  • Weapons Will Always Spawn In The Same Spots
