The world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a variety of creatures that players can encounter and catch. Some of these unique creatures are found in aquatic environments, with one of them being the Giant Snakehead. This fish would be an excellent addition to the collection of any player. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to encounter and catch the Giant Snakehead in Animal Crossing: New Horizons covered for you.
Giant Snakehead Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Players will find that the Giant Snakehead will spawn in ponds, so those interested in obtaining this aquatic creature will need to visit the ponds on their island or someone else’s island. However, players can not find these creatures in ponds at any time of the year. The Giant Snakehead will spawn in ponds between the months of June and August in the Northern Hemisphere. Animal Crossing: New Horizons players in the Southern Hemisphere will be able to encounter and catch the Giant Snakehead in January, February, and December.
It is also important to note that this creature will not spawn at any time of the day. Players have the ability to encounter and catch the Giant Snakehead between 9 AM and 4 PM. This spawning schedule means that players will have to set aside some dedicated time between 9 AM and 4 PM if they want to have a chance at catching one of these critters in a river.

You will find that this aquatic creature is large in size, which means those looking to catch the Giant Snakehead will need to focus on large shadow sizes in the ponds. This particular creature is worth a total of 5,500 Bells, so players can acquire a large amount of Bells if they gather and sell a substantial amount of these creatures.
There is no doubt that players can reap some benefits by taking the time to search out and catch these critters in the ponds on their island.
