How to Unlock C4

Before you can use C4, you’re going to have to learn how to unlock it. Unlocking C4 isn’t really hard to do, but it will require a little bit of time within the game to pull it off. There are quite a few requirements you’ll need to meet, including a specific level, a certain amount of Skill Points, and even a set amount of resources.

Resources will most likely prove to be the hardest commodity for players to find when trying to unlock C4, especially if they are trying to do so early in the game. For more help on finding resources, be sure to take a look at our guide on how to find resources in Ghost Recon Wildlands.

To unlock C4 you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Reach Level 4.
  • Have 2 Unspent Skill Points.
  • Have 650 Medical Resources.

Once you have the items listed above, open up your TACMAP and navigate to the Skills tab. Select C4 under the Item category, and then unlock the skill.

Now that you have C4 unlocked, it’s time to equip it. To do so, exit your TACMAP and take a look at your HUD. By default you can toss a grenade, or C4 by pressing G on the keyboard, or LB on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers. To change from the grenade to C4, all you need to do is press the 4 button on your keyboard, or use the left D-pad button on your controller.

Once you have the C4 equipped, you can place it or throw it using the G or LB button on your keyboard of controller, respectively. To detonate the C4, all you need to do is hold the G button or hold the LB button on your controller. Make sure you aren’t around when it goes off, though.

That’s everything you need to know about unlocking and equipping C4 in Ghost Recon Wildlands. We’ll have even more in-depth guides about the game over the coming weeks, so check back often for updated information, guides, and walkthroughs to help you conquer Bolivia and bring an end to El Sueno’s reign.
