Genshin Impact “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!” Event Guide and Rewards

Less card-y than you think

We still have a long way until Fontaine is here, but that doesn’t mean that Genshin Impact is dead until then. Duel! The Summoner’s Summit! is already here, and this version’s homonymous event sets the spotlight on the Genius Invokation TCG mode, which has conveniently just received a huge update with new cards and mechanics.

The event will obviously have you dueling your way around, so bring your duel disk and… wait, they don’t use those here. Oh well. Anyways, the card game is obligatory for Primogems, but usual minigames and combat events are also a part of this festival, so don’t worry if you don’t like playing the TCG. It’s not the only thing around here.

Genshin Impact – Duel! The Summoners’ Summit Guide

To enter this event, players must first reach Adventure Rank 32 and complete various missions, including “Battlefield of Dice, Cats and Cards!” (unlocks TCG mode) and “Ritou Escape Plan” (one of the first Inazuma Archon Quests).

Additionally, the game suggests that you complete all Sumeru Archon Quests, Mona’s and Raiden Shogun’s Story Quests all together, but you can skip this step by using the Quick Start button. Regardless of your path, follow the “Commence! A Suspect Genesis” temporary mission to unlock the event and its various minigames.

A Tour of Wonders is a racing minigame where you gotta reach your goal and get all stamps at the end. The most straightforward piece of activity around.

Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker marks the return of a puzzle-solving minigame from a few patches ago. Your objective is to make all gears connect by including new ones in the painting or rotating the surfaces to make it possible for them to run smoothly.

Zero Hour Invokation is the TCG event here. Instead of using your own cards, you’re given various cards to make a new deck with. Any difficulty will yield you the Primogem prices and the game even recommends certain cards for you in each matchup.

I took that chance to try out some of the new cards, and boy they’re good! Venti feels just as powerful in the TCG as he’s in the game and I love that.

And finally, Heart of Dice is the combat-with-a-twist event. Aside from building a team based on the buffs available in each challenge (such as Dendro – Electro teams in the first one), you also get access to a special field-clearing attack after collecting the special Dice when defeating enemies. Use it to ramp up some extra score quickly.

Duel! The Summoners’ Summit! Rewards and Prizes

The main prizes are tons of Primogems, scattered around completing the story sessions and minigames alike. You’ll also get various other rewards such as Mora, Experience Books, Weapon Ascension Materials and Mystic Enhancement Ores.

The most important reward is the Ibis Piercer, a new 4-star Bow given out for free in this event. You can get it by completing the mentioned activities and claiming it in the menu’s Weapon Reward area after getting at least 1000 Invokation Coupons.

They can also be used in the Genius Invokation TCG Reward store, where you can get items such as Congealed Pupa Wax (used to refine your new bow) and a Crown of Insight to level up characters’ talents to their maximum.
