Genshin Impact: Divine Ingenuity Collector’s Chapter Event Guide and Rewards

Tired of the same boring, old plain domains in Genshin? It’s time to make your own in the Divine Ingenuity: Collector’s Chapter event! This is a rebranded version of Teyvat’s Mario Maker-like event where players can create and share their own custom levels, complete with puzzles and challenges for everyone to enjoy.

And no need to interact with others if you don’t want to. The main rewards are still focused on solo gameplay as always. There are plenty of pre-made stages ready for you to tackle, rewarding your efforts with the usual Primogem awards. All players that are currently at Adventure Rank 20 or higher and have completed all of Mondstadt’s Archon Quests (ending in “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”) can participate in this event, so there’s little to no excuse not to. You won’t need much time to get the main rewards either, so just bear with it for a while.

The first thing to do is to complete the temporary quest with Honglong. He’s right beside the domain’s entrance, so you can start the premade challenges immediately. Those challenges will be a mix of various event domains throughout the game’s history. The first stage draws inspiration from Theater Mechanicus, for example.

Other stages play much like a roguelike dungeon. You get stronger as you progress through the level and open chests scattered around the area, making it easier to defeat the many foes that may or may not be thrown at you. Each domain is very unique by itself, and players can make their own with their personal ideas and inspiration.

But the most exciting aspect is that you can use every single character in the game for the domains! Yes, every single one. All stats are equalized for these fights, so don’t even worry about it and try out that dream team comp you always wanted to have!

How to Make Your Own Domain

New creations can be made by heading into the Event tab and selecting Custom Domains. From here, check the second tab (Design) and choose a slot to start customizing your personal domain. You can choose basic settings like arena size and the maximum number of players. 

Once you get to the creation itself, you can choose things like traps, buffs, and opponents that you want to place in your personal domain. You can limit players to use only certain characters or to have all available. Wanna have more rooms? No problem.

Your rules are absolute here, and you can later save your domain and log in to Hoyoverse’s official event page to share your creation and take a look at what others have made.

Divine Ingenuity: Collector’s Chapter Rewards

Completing each of the premade stages awards you plenty of Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Mora, and various resources like Weapon Enhancement Materials and Talent Books. Publishing or playing a player-made domain gets you similar rewards the first time you do, but no Primogems for that.

But personally, the best part for me in this event is catching a break from that same old game design formula for domains. This is an event designed to go out of the box and have fun, so why not do that?
