Epic Games surprised the Fortnite Battle Royale community on Wednesday, September 2nd when it revealed that the end date of Season 10 has been pushed back a week and will be ending later than previously expected. This change in schedule has also resulted in the start for the content period 11 of the battle royale title to be pushed back.

Fortnite Season 10 End Date
The v10.40 update patch notes were where players first saw that Epic Games had decided to push back the end of Season 10 to Sunday, October 13th. Players will now have extra time to finish leveling up their Battle Pass and complete any Missions they may have remaining before they are no longer able to do so for this content period.
Fortnite Season 11 Start Date
With the end of the current content period set for October 13th, it is highly likely that Epic Games will start stage 11 of Fortnite soon after on October 14th or 15. However, the developer has not yet officially announced a start date for the next content period of the battle royale title. We will update this article with the official start date for Fortnite Season 11 when Epic Games reveals it.
