From new points of interest to new weapons and utilities to new skins and battle pass bundles and much more, Fortnite: Wrecked is loaded with action, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked Breakdown
Fortnite: Wrecked is all about wastelands, scrap weapons, and chaos. In this season, players can find dusty dunes, factories, and molten lava labs placed across the map. Here’s a breakdown of the upcoming update.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked New Map Locations
The newest season introduces multiple areas, but a few places that most players would be interested in discovering are Redline Rig, Nitrodome, Brutal Beachhead, and Sandy Steppes. Here’s a preview of those locations.
- Redline Rig is a Nitro refinery run by The Machinist, the Wasteland Warriors’ master mechanic, and Nitro is an item you can obtain and use to make yourself powerful. You’ll find a lot of Nitro littered across Redline Rig.
- Nitrodome seems to be a racing dome for players to test their speed. Ringmaster Scarr oversees the Nitrodome and holds various chaotic car-racing ceremonies there.
- The Brutal Beachhead is the base of operations for the Wasteland Warriors. Players can find the master of the Wasteland Warriors, Megalo Don.
- Sandy Steppes is an updated version of the popular Snooty Steppes.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked New Items and Features
Fortnite: Wrecked brings back vehicle modes and introduces various new items and weapons in theme with the season. All of these additions make the new season more focused on chaotic car battles than actual gunfights, so expect some crazy moments this upcoming season. Here’s every important addition in Fortnite: Wrecked.
- Medallion Powers (The Machinist) – You can defeat special bosses across the map to gain their medallions. Each boss offers a unique Medallion that comes with a special perk when equipped. If you defeat The Machinist and equip her Medallion, your shield will be regenerated over time. She also drops a Mythic weapon called The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle.
- Medallion Powers (Ringmaster Scarr) – If you defeat Ringmaster Scarr and equip her Medallion, you’ll get infinite ammunition and a small damage buff. This boss also drops the Mythic weapon called Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt.
- Medallion Powers (Megalo Don) – If you defeat Megalo Don and equip his Medallion, you’ll be infused with infinite Nitro. This boss also drops the Mythic Weapon called Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists.
- Nitro items and effects – Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels are new items that power up players or their vehicles. Nitro Splash is a portable container of Nitro that players can throw on their vehicles or themselves. Nitro Barrels are containers that players can break, which applies the Nitro buff on contact. For Vehicles, the Nitro buff can amplify speed, decrease fuel consumption, buff attached attack modifications, and provide an explosive ramming power if the vehicle reaches the right momentum before impact. For players, the Nitro buff increases movement speed and reload speed, decreases stamina consumption, applies fall damage immunity, and provides players with an explosive bashing power that deals damage, knocks back enemies, and obliterates builds.
- Nitro Fists – Nitro Fists are a new weapon players can obtain and they’re basically gauntlets. When a player uses Nitro Fists, they can perform a three-punch combo, uppercut, and an aerial punch to smack down enemies. The item has four charges and each one recharges every eight seconds.
- Repair Torch – Repair Torches are items players can get to repair their car’s health when its low.
- Service Stations – Service Stations have replaced gas pumps and players only need to be parked on the Service Station pad to replenish their vehicle’s gas and health.
- Nuka-Cola – Nuka-Cola is a new item you can find all over the map and it replenishes a little bit of your health and shield.
- Kind Cacti – You can hit a Slurp Cacti and it’ll splash healing fruits on impact, which will replenish you and your vehicle’s health.
- Vehicle Mod Box – Players can find Vehicle Mod Boxes across the map and use them to obtain modifications for vehicles. The various new and returning car mods are listed below.
- Vehicle Modification (Machine Gun Turret) – Players can attach this roof mod to their vehicles and give their teammates a chance to fire a machine gun while someone else drives.
- Vehicle Modification (Grenade Launcher Turret) – Players can attach this roof mod to their vehicles, allowing them to launch grenades and obliterate enemies.
- Vehicle Modification (Spiked Bumper) – Players can attach this front bumper mod to deal more damage to other players or objects upon impact.
- Vehicle Modification (Cow Catcher) – Players can attach this front bumper mod to boost their vehicle’s ramming power and defense.
- Vehicle Modification (Bulletproof Tires) – Players can attach this tire mod to make their vehicle’s wheels indestructible.
- Vehicle Modification (Chonkers Off-Road Tires) – Players can attach this tire mode to make their vehicle more off-road friendly.
