With a new season comes a new set of Kickstart Quests, one of which is to find and accept three SHADOW briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Here’s how to do just that.
How to Find and Accept 3 SHADOW Briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 – Locations
SHADOW Briefings can be found in certain named location points of interest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. They replace the Bounty Board from Chapter 5, Season 1, and can also drop Supply Crates depending on which type you pick up.
Both Bounty and Supply Drop SHADOW Briefings are accepted from electronic crates; you’ll know you’ve found one when you see a spy briefcase that displays either a green parachute attached to a crate or a red target symbol. You’ll get 100 Gold Bars if you successfully eliminate a bounty.
I’ve found SHADOW Briefings most consistently in the following locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, which I’ve marked on the map below:
- Restored Reels.
- Reckless Railways.
- Grim Gate.
- Brawler’s Battlegrounds.
You must find and accept three SHADOW Briefings to complete the quest. Thankfully, this can be done across multiple matches, although I was able to complete it in a single match by running between Restored Reels and Reckless Railways.
Reward for Finding and Accepting 3 SHADOW Briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
Once you’ve found and accepted three SHADOW Briefings in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, the quest will end, and you’ll receive 10,000 XP as a reward. This reward might not seem like much, but it stacks up when you complete multiple Kickstart Quests, as they’re all worth 10k XP each. If you want to unlock as much of the Battle Pass as possible, I’d definitely recommend completing these. You’ll also earn a spray if you finish seven of them.
