To help make things as easy as possible, we’ve put together a quick guide that’ll go over all of these questions and more to ensure you’re able to find and test out these Venom and Carnage symbiotes for yourself!

Fortnite | Where to Find Venom Carnage Symbiotes

The first question Fortnite players are likely to ask in regards to Venom and Carnage symbiotes is where to find them. In the map image above, we’ll show you the symbols you’ll want to keep an eye out for when looking for Venom and Carnage Symbiotes in Fortnite.

During our experience searching for these symbiotes, even though their locations are random, we found they often appear in the surrounding area near Boney Burbs. Note that only two symbiotes appear during the game, one for Venom and one for Carnage, and that these symbols only appear once the first storm circle spawns.

You won’t see them prior to the first storm circle spawning so if you’re in the Boney Burbs area, we recommend staying there until the symbiote symbols appear on your map. When heading to the area where the symbol shows a symbiote to be, you’ll want to look for a floating container that when you approach it, gives you the “Extract” option.

The floating containers for symbiotes look somewhat reminiscent of the Alien Artifacts from Season 7. When someone has grabbed one of the Venom or Carnage symbiotes, the symbol marking the symbiote’s location will disappear off the map similar to Supply Drops.

That’s not to say the symbiote is gone forever as you can potentially eliminate the enemy player who took the symbiote and grab it from the loot they drop. You can easily see which enemy players have these symbiotes as well given the fact the symbiote can be seen on their back.

When equipped, the symbiote can also be seen on the player’s arm as these symbiotes allow you to grab and pull in enemy players (while also dealing damage), kind of like the Harpoon Gun.

In the image below, you’ll see what it looks like when a player has a symbiote in their inventory.

Once you either have a Venom or Carnage symbiote taking up space in your inventory – or have taken one from someone else by eliminating them – your next question will likely be in regards to what these symbiotes can be used for.

First, Venom and Carnage symbiotes increase your movement speed and allow you to glide freely and easily. Second, as mentioned above, you can equip the item in your inventory slot to grab enemies with your arm and pull them in.

Grabbing enemies deals 60 Damage, though keep in mind there’s a cooldown on this ability so once you’ve pulled someone in, it’s best to quickly switch over to a conventional weapon to finish the job.

And that wraps up everything you’ll need to know regarding Venom and Carnage symbiotes in Fortnite. We hope this has helped!
