For those who’ve never taken a swing at a fireplace before, or those uncertain about any of the steps required to complete this quest, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park in Fortnite!

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 | How to Destroy Fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park

The quest to destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park is given to you by Ember in Fortnite. If you haven’t spoken to Ember yet, they’re located northwest of Corny Crops. In the map image above, we’ve circled where you can find Ember.

Once you’ve found and spoken to Ember, the first quest you’ll have to complete is the one where you need to destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park. What’s nice about this quest is that any of these locations work, so it’s really up to you when it comes to where you go.

Of these locations, our personal recommendation is Pleasant Park. Not only is it the closest to Ember, but at Pleasant Park, there are a few homes with fireplaces in them, typically on the bottom floor. In the image below, you’ll see what these fireplaces look like.

After finding a fireplace, your next order of business is to destroy it. To destroy a fireplace in Fortnite, all you need to do is whip out your pickaxe and start swinging at the fireplace. When it’s destroyed, you should see a notification that the quest has been completed.

As a reward for completing the first quest from Ember, you’ll earn 30,000 XP in Fortnite and can move on to other tasks such as setting structures on fire.

Again, all you need to do is get the quest from Ember, visit one of the listed locations (Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park), locate a fireplace inside one of the residential homes, then use your pickaxe to smash and destroy it.

We hope this guide has helped!
