Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Upgrade Weapons at Upgrade Benches

The first question Fortnite players are likely to have when it comes to the challenge of upgrading weapons at upgrade benches is where to find these upgrade benches. In the map image above, you’ll see the location of all upgrade benches in Fortnite marked.

All you need to do is head to one of these locations and keep an eye out for an upgrade bench. In the image below, we’ll show you exactly what an upgrade bench looks like to help make it easier for you to find.

Once you’ve found yourself an upgrade bench, the next step is to upgrade weapons using this upgrade bench. If you haven’t collected weapons yet, be sure to do some light scavenging to ensure you have plenty of weapons in your inventory to choose from.

The reason for this is the challenge requires you to upgrade three weapons, so if you have three ready to go in your inventory, you’ll be able to complete this challenge in one go. Note that you’ll also need Bars on hand in order to upgrade weapons at upgrade benches.

The rarer the weapon in your inventory, the more expensive it’ll be to upgrade it at an upgrade bench. The cheapest way to get this challenge done is to upgrade Common grade weapons.

That said, you’re free to use the upgrade bench challenge to upgrade your weapons to Rare and/or Legendary and give yourself an advantage over your opponents.

No matter what you decide to do, as long as you upgrade three total weapons at upgrade benches you should see a notification pop up that you’ve completed the challenge and have earned 30,000 XP as a reward in Fortnite.
