Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Travel in a Saucer

One of the coolest ways to get around the map.
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the Quests available to players in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 tasks them with traveling in a flying saucer (0/1,000). To do this, you’ll obviously need to find a saucer that you can get into. You’ll also need to know how to travel in a saucer if you’ve never done so before.

To help with all of this, we’ve put together a guide that’ll show you the quickest way to complete the “travel in a saucer” Quest in Fortnite!

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Travel in a Saucer

To complete the “travel in a saucer” Quest in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, you’ll first need to know where to find a flying saucer. In the map image above, we’ve marked where a free, parked, unused, unguarded flying saucer can be found.

This is our favorite location to visit if we’re in need of a flying saucer as there’s usually one parked here and hidden by some shrubbery. You can also find a parked, unused saucer at Corny Complex inside the main large barn.

However, you’ll need to fight off several IO Guards to get to this particular saucer, along with enemy opponents as this red barn offers access to Doctor Slone’s secret hideout.

Another option to get a flying saucer is to go to a location where aliens are swarming and fight them to try and get them to land, at which point you can steal their saucer.

The same goes for enemy opponents, although typically they won’t exit the saucer until it’s almost completely dead, so this may not be the best way to get the traveling in a saucer Quest done.

Once you’re in a saucer (approach it and enter like you would a vehicle, for us it was E on PC), all you need to do is fly around with it.

Note you can gain altitude to fly higher (space bar on PC) to try and ensure fewer people target you and shoot at you.

Keep flying around until you hit the 1,000 threshold at which point you’ll have completed the Quest and will have earned yourself a cool 30,000 XP as a reward in Fortnite.
