The news that a LeBron James Outfit is coming to Fortnite was met with excitement, confusion, and curiosity. More than that, questions on how to get the LeBron James Outfit, when it’ll be available, and what’s included in terms of items have also begun to be asked.
To help, we’ve put together a quick guide that runs through what you need to do to get the LeBron James Outfit in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | How to Get LeBron James Outfit
The first question that pops up when it comes to the LeBron James Outfit is how to get it in Fortnite.
Currently, the only way to get the LeBron James Outfit in Fortnite is to buy it from the Item Shop using V-Bucks (in-game currency purchased using real money).
As noted by Epic Games in a post on the Fortnite Blog, the LeBron James Outfit will be available in Fortnite’s Item Shop starting this Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00 p.m. (EST).
“Arriving in the Item Shop on July 14, 2021, basketball’s best arrives with two separate Outfits — each equipped with King James’ upcoming signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 19.”
LeBron James is being added as part of Fortnite’s Icon Series and not one, but two LeBron James Outfits will be available. Each Outfit is distinctly different, but both have LeBron sporting a pair of Nike LeBron 19s. Which is pretty cool.
Taking a closer look, the first LeBron James Outfit features optional sunglasses, a black jacket, black pants, and a crown. Also included is the King’s Back Bling.
If you want to add to this look, there will be an option to purchase a King James Gear Bundle.
Included in the King James Gear Bundle are both of the LeBron James Outfits and Back Blings, along with the Lion Pickaxe, Wingspan Glider, LeBron’s “emphatic on-the-court celebration” called The Silencer, and the Court’s in Session Loading Screen.
Additionally…
“LeBron’s matching Outfit, Back Bling, Lion Pickaxe, and Wingspan Glider all feature a progressive edit slider — allowing you to add more than 20 gold variations of the outfit.”
If the edit slider and gold variations of LeBron’s Outfit aren’t enough to get you pumped, the second LeBron James Outfit (that’s available separately) is themed around the upcoming film, Space Jam: A New Legacy.
This Outfit is called Tune Squad LeBron and includes the LeBron’s Taco Tuesday style Variant and Pack Supreme Back Bling.
So, to quickly recap, the only way to get the LeBron James Outfit in Fortnite is to purchase it from the Item Shop using V-Bucks with the Outfit available starting Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00 p.m. (EST).
Two Outfits will be available for purchase, as will the King James Gear Bundle which includes everything. Be sure to check back, as we’ll be updating this guide to add V-Buck prices once the LeBron James Outfit is up in the Fortnite Item Shop.
