An exciting new addition to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is Clark Kent, along with in-game NPCs like Armored Batman and Beast Boy. For those that have the Season 7 Battle Pass, a Clark Kent Outfit and other cosmetics can now be unlocked. Of course, this is easier said than done.
To simplify everything, we’ve put together a quick guide for you explaining how to get the Clark Kent Outfit and cosmetics in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | How to Get Clark Kent
The Clark Kent Outfit in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is available to players with the Season 7 Battle Pass. If you don’t currently own the Season 7 Battle Pass you can purchase it for 950 V-Bucks or you can obtain it by subscribing to Fortnite Crew.
With the Season 7 Battle Pass, you’ll be able to unlock the new Outfit for Clark Kent Outfit along with other cool cosmetics. How is this done? By completing Quests assigned to you by in-game NPCs like Armored Batman. You don't need Battle Stars to unlock any of the Clark Kent cosmetics.
In a previous guide, we outlined where you can find these three NPCs. Additionally, if you’re having trouble finding any of them, accepting Quests from payphones can serve as one potential workaround as you’ll often get Quests assigned to you by these characters.
As far as the Quests go, they’re typically easy and consist of things like visiting named locations, defeating alien NPCs, and so on and so forth. In terms of how many Quests you’ll need to complete, this information can be found in your Quest menu under the tab for Superman.
We’ve also included this information for you below in terms of the number of Quests and what you can earn as a reward for completing them.
Complete 1 Quest from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy
– Call to Action Emote
Complete 3 Quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy
– Superman Shield Spray
Complete 5 Quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy
– Clark Kent Outfit
Glide Through 3 Rings as Clark Kent
– Daily Planet Back Bling
Use a Phone Booth as Clark Kent
– Secret Identity Emote (Superman)
As you can see from the list of Quests, you’ll need to complete 5 total Quests assigned to you by NPCs including Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy in order to unlock the Clark Kent Outfit.
While you’re completing Quests, you’ll earn other rewards first like the Call To Action Emote and the Superman Shield Spray. After you unlock the Clark Kent Outfit, you can add to it by unlocking cosmetics like the Daily Planet Back Bling and the Secret Identity Emote.
Additional rewards can be earned, as outlined in a post on the Fortnite blog. According to the post, these rewards can be earned in the following order:
- The Kal-El's Cape Glider
- A Superman Banner
- The Last Son of Krypton Loading Screen
- The Solitude Striker Pickaxe
- The Shadow variant for Clark Kent, the Daily Planet Back Bling (the “Late Edition”), the Superman Cape Back Bling, and the Solitude Striker Pickaxe
The post doesn't specify how you earn these rewards, but we imagine it's the same as the Clark Kent Outfit where you need to complete Quests.
If you want to view all of the rewards and see what they look like on your character, be sure to visit the Battle Pass tab and select “Special Quests Superman” to check out everything you can unlock.
To quickly recap, to get the Clark Kent Outfit in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 you’ll need the Season 7 Battle Pass and you’ll need to complete Quests. Only Quests assigned to you by in-game NPCs of Clark Kent, Armored Batman, and Beast Boy will count towards your Quest progress for the Clark Kent Outfit.
The more Quests you complete, the more rewards you'll earn in addition to the Clark Kent Outfit in Fortnite.
