Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Deploy Pallets With Cat Food Around the IO Base

The last Legendary Quest as part of the Week 13 Challenges in Fortnite tasks players with deploying pallets of cat food around an IO Base. Naturally, questions will arise including how to do this, and what IO Base do you need to do it at.

The first question Fortnite players will likely have when it comes to this Quest is where to find the IO Base where you need to deploy pallets with cat food. The answer to this question can be found by interacting with the Quest in your Quest menu.

In doing so, a marker will pop up over Corny Complex with the number three, indicating three opportunities to deploy pallets here. Note that you only need to deploy two pallets with cat food in order to complete this Quest. 

Now that you know where to go, the next question is what do these pallets look like, and how do you deploy them. Similar to other Quest items, the pallets look like faint blue outlines on the ground.

When you approach them, you should see a prompt to Place Cat Food. After doing that once (E on PC), you’ll need to find another pallet. Be cautious when wandering around Corny Complex looking for pallets as Slone and her minions are out and about and ready to start shooting.

Because of this, this Quest is undoubtedly the hardest to complete this week. We recommend stocking up on weapons and supplies (and upgrading weapons if you have enough Bars) to ensure you’re able to defeat Slone should she confront you at Corny Complex.

You can refer to the map image above to know exactly where all three pallets of cat food are located at Corny Complex. You can also complete this Quest over the course of multiple matches, so if you’re only able to place one, it’ll count towards your progress. 

After placing two pallets of cat food at Corny Complex, you should see a notification that the Quest has been completed. As a reward for completing this Quest, you’ll earn 30,000 XP in Fortnite.
