Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Construct a Wooden Hatchery

The Week 7 Challenges are live in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, bringing with them questions like how do you construct a Wooden Hatchery?

To help you complete the first Legendary Quest as part of the Week 7 Challenges in Fortnite, we’ve put together a quick guide on how and where to construct a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite! 

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Construct a Wooden Hatchery

The first question Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 players have is where do you need to do to construct a Wooden Hatchery? When you interact with the Legendary Quest in your list of Quests, a variety of locations should appear marked on the map, letting you know where to go.

You can see this in the map image above. When you pick a location to land at, your next order of business is gathering the materials necessary to construct a Wooden Hatchery. In total, you’ll need 50 Wood to construct a Wooden Hatchery.

When you land, whack down a few trees and other wooden objects to get the 50 Wood that’s required. Once you’ve done this, your next question is likely centered on what a Wooden Hatchery looks like, and what you need to be on the lookout for. 

When we completed this Week 7 Challenge, we found the outline for the Wooden Hatchery inside a small wood cabin. The Wooden Hatchery will be outlined with a blue glow, and when you approach it you should see a prompt that reads, “Build Hatchery 50 Wood.” 

On PC, we pressed and held “E” and the Wooden Hatchery appeared in front of us. After completing this Legendary Quest to construct a Wooden Hatchery as part of the Week 7 Challenges in Fortnite, you should earn 45,000 XP.

The next Legendary Quest for you to complete in Fortnite will appear as well, with the next Quest being to mark an Alien Egg.
