A variety of new challenges are available for Fortnite players to complete following the launch of Chapter 2 Season 7. Among these challenges is one that tasks you with collecting Stone from the Aftermath.
If you’re uncertain what this means, or you’re new to Fortnite and are unsure what the best ways to collect Stone are, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a closer look at how to collect stone from the Aftermath in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Collect Stone From the Aftermath
The first step when it comes to collecting Stone from the Aftermath in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is knowing where to find the Aftermath on the game’s map. In the image above, we’ve circled where the Aftermath can be found.
As you can see, it’s the purple, circular crater smack dab at the center of the map. Head over to this area, then look around the ring of water for large boulders and rocks. Next, take out your Harvesting Tool and start swinging at these boulders and rocks to harvest Stone from them.
Note that you won’t be able to do this with all of the boulders in the Aftermath area, particularly the really large ones with Chests on them. However, there are enough boulders and rocks surrounding the Aftermath that you should be able to complete this challenge fairly quickly.
The total amount of Stone you need to collect from the Aftermath is 100. Once you reach that threshold, you should receive a notification that you’ve completed this Legendary Quest and have earned 30,000 XP as a reward.
With that done and crossed off your list, you’re free to tackle other challenges in Fortnite including upgrading weapons at upgrade benches. Be sure to check back in with Prima regularly, as we’ll be posting more Fortnite guides as we dig deeper into Season 7!
