Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Collect Cat Food

In Fortnite, there’s a Quest that players can complete to earn 30,000 XP that tasks them with collecting cat food at Dirty Docks and Retail Row. In total, you’ll need to collect two things of cat food in order to mark this Quest as complete.

In the map image above, we’ve marked the four locations (two at each named location) where we found cat food at both Dirty Docks and Retail Row.

As for what you’re looking for specifically, the cat food you need to collect appears as a little palette full of cat food cans. You aren’t looking for a bag of dry cat food or anything.

In the image below, we’ll show you what the cat food you need to collect looks like.

When you see the cat food, it should be glowing blue, letting you know that you can interact with it. Approach the cat food and interact with it to “collect” it and you’re good to go.

Note that the cat food is located in close proximity at both Dirty Docks and Retail Row, so you can feasibly complete this Quest at one of these two locations, you shouldn’t have to visit both.

Of the two, Retail Row is the easiest location to complete the cat food Quest. At Retail Row, we found the cat food in the NOMS store against the back wall near some shelves leaning against the wall, see image below for reference.

After we collected this batch of cat food, we went behind NOMS store and approached the truck with the open back trailer.

To the right of the truck up against the brick wall of the store that sits next to NOMS, you’ll find the second batch of cat food to collect at Retail Row (see image below).

At Dirty Docks, you’ll need to head towards the southern edge of Dirty Docks into the area with a bunch of colorful containers stacked on top of one another.

There, you should find one of the cat food batches up against a blue container near several stacked boxes of cat food with cartoon cat pictures on the boxes (that match the cans of cat food themselves).

The other batch of cat food can be found nearby, up against another container the same way as the first batch of cat food at Dirty Docks. Essentially, if you want to collect both batches of cat food at Dirty Docks, stay in the container area at the southern edge.

If you want to collect both batches of cat food at Retail Row, visit NOMS store, then head around back near the truck with the open trailer at the back and look for the cat food to the right up against a brick wall.

Once you’ve collected both batches of cat food, you should get a notification that you’ve completed the Quest, earning yourself 30,000 XP as a reward in Fortnite.
