Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | Where to Get the Grappler Bow

With the recent addition of the Grappler Bow in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 comes questions of where to find this new weapon and how to use it. The first part of that question is one of the most important, as you won’t be able to practice your Grappler Bow skills without one in hand.

To help make things easier, we’ve put together a quick guide on where you can find the Grappler Bow in Fortnite! 

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | Where to Get the Grappler Bow 

The Grappler Bow in Fortnite is one that can be obtained by talking to the Lara Croft NPC in Stealthy Stronghold. In the map image above, we’ve marked Stealthy Stronghold and the location where you can find Lara Croft. 

If you’re still having trouble finding Lara Croft in Stealthy Stronghold, we have a separate guide that’ll show you exactly where and how to find her. 

Once you’ve found Lara Croft, you’ll need to interact with her to view the options she provides which include two quests where you can earn Bars, the option to hire Lara Croft for 95 Bars, and the option to purchase the Grappler Bow for 500 Bars.

In order to get the Grappler Bow in Fortnite, you’ll have to purchase it for 500 Bars from Lara Croft in Stealthy Stronghold. As of the time of this writing, there doesn’t appear to be any other way to obtain the Grappler Bow in Fortnite. 

As for how the Grappler Bow is used, its name gives a hint as it allows you to grapple to nearby locations when the bow is fully pulled back. 

By pulling the bow fully back and aiming, you should be able to do things like grapple up into trees (which we did a few times for fun). You can also grapple your way closer to enemies and up into the structures they’re building for an ambush attack. 

Our personal recommendation is to purchase the bow and practice in a remote location where you aren’t likely to encounter enemy players. Again, you can get the Grappler Bow by purchasing it from Lara Croft in Stealthy Stronghold for 500 Bars.
