Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | Raid an Artifact From Stealthy Stronghold and Coral Castle

The first question Fortnite players have regarding the Week 12 Challenge to “raid an artifact from Stealthy Stronghold and Coral Castle” is where these artifacts are located.

In the map image above, we’ve circled where you can find artifacts to raid at both Stealthy Stronghold and Coral Castle.

While there are multiple artifacts at both locations, keep in mind that you just need to raid one artifact from each of these locations (two artifacts total, one from Coral Castle and one from Stealthy Stronghold).

What’s nice is that these two locations are in relatively close proximity to one another, making it possible to complete this Week 12 Challenge in one go.

Before you start raiding artifacts, we recommend stocking up on weapons and supplies in the event you run into enemy players or predators to hunt like wolves or raptors (another Week 12 Challenge). Once you’re stocked up on weapons and supplies, you’re going to want to look for artifacts to raid.

In the image below, you’ll be able to see what one of these artifacts look like.

The artifact we raided from Stealthy Stronghold looked different than this, but had similar properties from the blue glow to the prompt to “raid” the artifact.

If you’re uncertain something is an artifact, all you need to do is approach it and you should see that it’s glowing blue, and that it has a prompt to “raid” when you get close to it. On PC, you’ll need to press and hold E to interact with the artifact and “raid” it.

On platforms like Xbox, you’d press A, etc. If you want to make doubly sure you’ve done this correctly, you can open your Quests menu and look to see if progress has updated to 1 of 2 artifacts raided. If you see this, you’re golden and can head over to the next location to raid one more artifact.

When the second and final artifact has been raided, you should be notified that the Week 12 Challenge has been completed. As a reward for completing this Week 12 Challenge, you’ll earn 24,000 XP in Fortnite.
