Best Class in Fortnite

Fortnite’s Heroes are currently broken down into four main classes: Outlander, Ninja, Soldier, and Constructor. These four classes include several different Heroes apiece, and each class has its own special abilities and perks.

As you progress through Fortnite, you’ll want to focus on one or two of the classes listed above. Unfortunately, due to the way that you earn skill points, stretching yourself too thin could cause your progress to reach a standstill. Now that you know about some of the limitations of the classes in the game, let’s talk about the best class.

Finding the best class in Fortnite really all depends on what you are looking for. Each class has its own perks, as well as its own pros and cons. But, we’re going to help you get to the bottom of which class fits best for you, by proposing a few questions.

Do you enjoy shooting things? Do you want high offense? Are you just looking to murder husks and other enemies all day long? If you answered yes to these questions, then chances are you want to go with a Soldier Hero. The Soldier is by far the most well-rounded class in the game, and these Heroes offer great offense and a steady amount of defense as well.

Do you enjoy building? Do you long to erect massive fortresses to protect your Storm Shield? Do you like having a ton of health and being able to take a ton of hits from enemies? Then your best class is most likely going to be the Constructor. This class features low offense, but it makes up for that in cheaper building costs, faster building, and just all around tankiness.

If you want speed, and high damage melee, then the Ninja is going to be the class that you want to check out. They don’t have the highest defense—which is to be expected—but their skill and damage dealing abilities with weapons like swords are unmatched by any other class in the game.

Finally, if you enjoy the exploration of different areas and finding rare items and loot, then the Outlander is going to be the best class for you to try out. This class has an all-around low offense and defense, but it’s more than made up for in the hero’s ability to find rare treasure in all types of mission zones.

Finding the best class in Fortnite is all about playstyle, and you’ll probably want to try each one out at least a little bit to see which fits you the best.
